Reconnect with Nature

THESE BEAUTIFUL ISLES

Cornwall

August 2020

We went to visit family in Cornwall last week and with a little local knowledge our path rarely crossed with another sole. Early each morning we’d leave the house on foot, our rucksacks packed with sandwiches, wetsuits, books and a flask of tea, and would quickly find ourselves out of town and treading the rugged, beautifully wild coastal paths. Immersed in the wilderness looking out to sea and enjoying the sense of remoteness. We discovered secret beaches, their locations only revealed at low tide, and found safe places to swim and whiled away the hours in peace on our secluded patch of shoreline.

When exploring our small Isle it’s surprisingly easy to find spaces that are less well known.
