Garden Visits

THE SKY

GARDEN

Fenchurch Street, London

It’s not often that you find yourself seeking shelter in a garden from the mizzle smudged skies of central London. However that’s exactly where we found ourselves, nestled amongst the rooftops at number 20 Fenchurch Street.

November 2016

The cathedral like canopy of the Sky Garden houses three levels of landscaped garden that’s free to be explored by the public. The paths wind and weave around ferns and fig tree’s framing the urban landscape of London. Rarely are we encouraged to peak over walls (or in this case through the glass walls) across neighbouring gardens, but when you’re sandwiched between St Paul’s and Tower Bridge this garden is as much about enjoying the view as it is about appreciating the space you’re in.
